The new £4 million Vocational Centre at the Aldercar Community College, Heanor. Incorporates  a modern learning facility for 6th form students.

The complex includes IT suites, workshops, motor vehicle units, health and beauty training facilities, classrooms, refectory and catering training kitchens.

 The 12 month construction programme was completed in  January 09 and was designed by in house architects at Derbyshire County Council
