Queens Park Restoration

The complete restoration of Queens Park in Chesterfield. This contract was for the restoration of the boating lake and its perimeter, including drainage, cleaning and installation of read beds and water pumps. The restoration of the band stands and dove cote. The conversion of the North Lodge into a visitor centre and café. The complete refurbishment and extension of the cricket pavilion. The restoration of the park perimeter including gates, railing and fencing, block paving and terrace walling, children’s play areas, ticket offices, external works, drainage and hard and soft landscaping. The project was part funded by the Heritage lottery fund.

Poolsbrook Country Park

The creation of a Country Park at Darley Dale for Chesterfield Borough Council. The project included for the creation of open spaces for public use, footpaths and leisure areas, the restoration of existing and new build park buildings, boundary fencing, lighting, drainage, planted areas, hard and soft landscaping and children’s play areas. The project was completed in two phases and was part funded by the Herritage Lottery fund.

Witworth Park Restoration

The contract was for the complete restoration of the park, with listed elements, including the cleaning and reconstruction of the pond, restoration of listed gates and constructing new iron fencing, land draining, main drainage, ducting and electrical services, new paths and roads, constructing a new skate board bowl and new play equipment, re-pointing stone work and renovating a listed stone wall. Hard and soft landscaping and the creation of specialist sculptures around the park. The project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
